What a short video gives you and what it leaves out
A TikTok haul video gives you a picture of an item and, usually, a pointer: a link in the creator's bio, a pinned comment or a text overlay. What it leaves out is the row itself: the exact listing, the size table, the seller's store and the date. LitBuy's footer lists TikTok and YouTube among its social channels (19 October 2026), so both are normal places to meet a LitBuy find. This page covers the creator-run side; we describe those accounts by type and name none.
Three types are common. Haul videos show a finished order. Find videos show one item and say where it came from. Sheet videos walk through a spreadsheet on screen. All three end in the same place, a link you must verify yourself.
A video proves that an item existed on one day; the row proves nothing until you open it.
Bio links, link pages and the sheet behind them
A bio holds one clickable address, so creators point it at a link page: a small site with buttons for each sheet, category or discount. The Beacons page explains that format in detail. Behind a button you will usually find a Google Sheet with tabs for clothing, shoes and accessories, built like the haul trackers described on the Reddit page.
Keep three habits. Open the sheet in a separate tab instead of the in-app browser so you can copy ID digits. Check the sheet's last-edited date if the tool shows one. And never enter payment details on a page that is not litbuy.com; LitBuy takes payment per order at its own checkout.
Follow the bio link, but do all the verifying on litbuy.com.
YouTube haul videos: the same rows, more detail
YouTube works as a slower version of TikTok. A haul video may run ten minutes, and the description box often lists every item with its link, which is closer to a sheet than any short clip. Chapters and pinned comments can carry sizes. The trade-off is age: a video from last year still ranks, while the items inside have changed.
Use the description as a shopping list and the video as a visual aid. If the creator shows a tape measure against the item, note the numbers and compare them with the seller's size table. Then ask for the same shots in your own QC: a measurement photo costs ¥1, about €0.16 at LitBuy's display rate. The QC photos guide lists what to request.
A long haul video is only as good as the list under it and the date on it.
Warning signs in video sources, and what to do
These are general habits for any social source, not claims about particular creators.
| Warning sign | Why it matters | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| No link, only a price | Price may be from another day | Find the listing, then read LitBuy's page price |
| "Quality guaranteed" | LitBuy says it cannot verify quality | Ask for QC photos and measure |
| Link shortener or odd domain | You cannot see the destination | Only continue to litbuy.com or the marketplace |
| Request to pay a person | Outside LitBuy's checkout | Decline; pay per order inside LitBuy |
| Weight stated aloud | May include the box | Use estimated weights from the library |
| Clip with no date | The item may be delisted | Open the row first, then plan the parcel |
Anything that pulls you away from the item page or the checkout is a reason to stop.
From a video to a LitBuy order, step by step
- Get the link. Take it from the bio, description or sheet, not from a comment reply.
- Extract the item ID. Use the link converter or copy the digits after
itemID=orid=. - Open the LitBuy page. Pick the style and size options; read the cm table, not a letter size.
- Estimate the parcel. Use the weights on the matching slides or tees page.
- Check the total. Add the item at ¥1 ≈ €0.158 and the line price from the landed price tool.
Five steps turn a video into a priced row you can decide on.
Worked example: slides from a video, and a two-tee haul
These prices are hypothetical, converted at LitBuy's display rate of ¥1 ≈ €0.158 (27 October 2026). Slides are estimated at 0.60 kg, so they fall in the 1,000 g band; LitBuy's all-in estimator price for 1 kg to Germany on LIT-Economy-DHL-DE was €30.42 on that day.
One ¥120 pair of slides seen in a video, shipped alone
Item: ¥120 × 0.158€18.96
Est. 0.60 kg, 1,000 g band, LIT-Economy-DHL-DE all-in€30.42
Landed in Germany€49.38
A haul video often shows several light items. Two ¥70 tees, estimated at 0.25 kg each, weigh 0.50 kg together and stay in the 500 g band. Shipped separately, each tee would cost €34.14 landed (€11.06 item plus €23.08), or €68.28 for both.
Two ¥70 tees in one parcel
Items: ¥140 × 0.158€22.12
Est. 0.50 kg, 500 g band, all-in€23.08
Landed in Germany, both tees€45.20
That is €23.08 less than two single parcels. For the US, the slides cost ¥120 × 0.177 = $21.24 plus $41.17 for 1 kg on ZF-GOFO-US-1.
Buy the items a video shows in one parcel, not one by one.
Where to go after the video
If the clip showed a category, open its library page for weights and fit notes: bags and backpacks and accessories are frequent video subjects. If you want a human to talk it through, LitBuy's official Discord is the closer option, and the combine-parcels guide shows how to build one box. If you have no LitBuy account yet, pass the row to us through the WhatsApp QR on the contact page. You get a single delivered price and photos before dispatch, and you pay per order.
Let the video start the search and the numbers finish it.
FAQ
Why do TikTok sheet links often stop working?
Short videos get reposted for months, while the seller can delist an item in a day. LitBuy shows 'The product has been removed from the shelves.' for a dead item. Open the link before you plan a parcel around it, and if it fails use the marketplace store name or a screenshot of the title to look for the same item again.
Is a link in a creator's bio the same as an official LitBuy link?
No. A bio link is whatever the creator chose to publish, and its URL often carries an inviteCode= or ref= tail that belongs to that creator. LitBuy's own pages sit on litbuy.com. You can strip the tail and rebuild the address from the item ID, so the product opens on litbuy.com without the creator's code.
Can I trust the weight or price a haul video states?
Treat both as a guide. A spoken weight may include the box and mailer, and a price may be from a different day or currency. LitBuy's display rate was ¥1 ≈ €0.158 on 27 October 2026, but your checkout total in your own currency decides. Recalculate with our estimated weights and the landed price tool.
What if a video shows an item without any link?
Take a screenshot of the item and look for the Chinese title in the video text or description. Image search on the marketplaces can find the listing, and a W2C request on a community page lets others point to it. For marketplace sources LitBuy does not cover, Fill & Buy is the route, with an extra service fee possible.
Do YouTube haul videos work the same way as TikTok ones?
Yes, with more room for detail. Descriptions often list every item as a link, so you get a clean table of rows to check, and longer videos show unboxing and sizing. Both formats are one buyer's order, so compare the item with the seller's own photos and read the size table in centimetres before you trust the fit.
Does a creator's link make my LitBuy order cost more?
LitBuy does not publish any shipping change for orders that start from a creator's link; the estimator quotes we read depend on destination, line and weight, for example €30.42 all-in for 1 kg to Germany on LIT-Economy-DHL-DE (27 October 2026). Invite tails mostly benefit their owner, and the new-user coupon banner is offered to all new users. Remove the tail if you prefer a plain link.
