Finding a LitBuy sheet on Reddit: how threads share rows and how to check one before you buy

Last updated .

Short answer: Reddit threads share LitBuy sheets as pinned posts, comment lists and linked Google Sheets, and r/LitBuy_Community is the subreddit LitBuy itself links in its footer. Treat every row as a lead, not a verdict: open the item link, read the size table and rebuild the link yourself. A hypothetical ¥150 hoodie row, estimated at 0.75 kg, lands in Germany for about €54.12 on LIT-Economy-DHL-DE (27 Oct 2026).

How Reddit passes LitBuy rows around

Reddit is a forum, so a sheet there is usually one of three things: a pinned or stickied post with a link to a Google Sheet, a long comment list where each reply is one item, or a haul post whose author pastes the links under the photos. The only subreddit this site names is r/LitBuy_Community, because LitBuy links it in its own footer (seen 19 October 2026). Other communities that mention LitBuy exist, but they are run by people outside the company, and we describe them by type instead of naming them.

A row is one product line in a sheet: a name, a link, a price and sometimes a photo. Reddit rows travel well because they are cheap to post, and they decay for the same reason: nobody is paid to keep them current. Read the post date first. Our sheet directory compares Reddit with the other sources, and this page covers only the Reddit end.

A Reddit row is a lead worth five minutes, not a recommendation you can skip checking.

The columns a Reddit haul-tracker sheet usually has

Most sheets linked from threads are haul trackers or category lists. The table shows the columns such sheets usually carry and what to do with each. It describes a typical layout, not one particular sheet.

Typical columns in a thread-linked sheet and the check each one needs
ColumnWhat it holdsWhat to check
Item nameShort English label, sometimes a category tabCompare with the Chinese title on the listing
LinkAgent link, often with an invite tailExtract the item ID and rebuild the link
Price (CNY)Seller price on the day it was addedLitBuy's page may show 1 to 3% more
WeightPoster's guess or the packed weightTreat as an estimate, see our hoodie page for planning weights
QC linkPhoto album from someone's orderOne buyer, one lighting setup
Date or batch tagWhen the row was added or which seller versionNo date means assume it is old

The weight and QC columns are the ones people trust too much. A weight written by a poster is a guess unless the poster says it came off a packed parcel, and even then it includes packaging.

Rows with a date, an item ID and a size table beat rows with only a photo.

Checking one row in five minutes

Do the same five steps for every row you plan to buy, whichever thread it came from.

  1. Open the link. If it shows LitBuy's removed-from-shelves message, stop and ask for a replacement in the thread.
  2. Read the Chinese title and size table. Sizes are in cm; the Chinese size chart guide explains flat versus round numbers.
  3. Compare the price. Note the CNY figure on LitBuy's page, not the one in the sheet.
  4. Look for buyer photos on the marketplace listing. Reviews on the seller's page show the item in daylight.
  5. Write down the store name and date. If the row dies later, the store name helps you find the same item again.

The row-check guide goes deeper on nine columns, and the dead-links guide covers what to do when step one fails.

Open the link, read the table, note the price: three steps stop most bad purchases.

Turning a Reddit link into a LitBuy link

LitBuy product addresses follow one pattern: https://www.litbuy.com/product/<code>/<item id>, where the code is 0 for 1688, 1 for Taobao, 2 for Weidian and 3 for JD (tested 27 October 2026 on six Weidian rows). A Weidian original looks like weidian.com/item.html?itemID=..., and a Taobao one like item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=.... Pull the digits after the equals sign, choose the code, and you have a clean link with no sheet-maker tail.

Our link converter does this for you. Rows copied from threads that were built for a different shopping agent work the same way, because the item ID belongs to the marketplace, not to the agent. See the agentlinks page for rows that list several agents side by side.

The item ID travels between agents; the invite tail does not need to.

Worked example: a ¥150 hoodie row from thread to Germany

Item prices here are hypothetical. We convert yuan at LitBuy's own display rate of ¥1 ≈ €0.158 (27 October 2026), which is higher than typical bank rates, so the total at your checkout in your currency is what counts. A hoodie is estimated at 0.75 kg (a planning figure, not a weighed one), which falls in the 1,000 g band. LitBuy's all-in estimator price for 1 kg to Germany on LIT-Economy-DHL-DE was €30.42 on 27 October 2026; the landed price calculator explains the parts.

One ¥150 hoodie row, shipped alone to Germany

Item: ¥150 × 0.158€23.70

Est. 0.75 kg, 1,000 g band, LIT-Economy-DHL-DE all-in€30.42

Landed in Germany€54.12

For a buyer in the US the same item is ¥150 × 0.177 = $26.55 before $41.17 for 1 kg on ZF-GOFO-US-1. Because the parcel fee is shared, adding a second item from the same thread often costs less than the first; the combine-parcels guide shows the bands.

The thread gave you the item; the weight band decides what it really costs.

Warning signs in a thread

None of these prove a problem, but each is a reason to slow down.

  • The poster asks you to send money or an account login in a private message. LitBuy takes payment per order, inside its own checkout.
  • Every link carries the same invite tail and no row has a date.
  • Photos with no listing behind them, or a row with a price far below similar items.
  • Replies telling you that quality or authenticity is guaranteed. LitBuy's product pages say it cannot verify either.
  • A pinned sheet last edited many months ago while the replies complain about dead rows.

Accounts that only post sheet links and nothing else are another pattern to treat carefully. If a thread leaves you unsure, a W2C request (where to cop, meaning a request for a link) lets you ask for several alternatives and compare them.

Pay only inside LitBuy's checkout and ignore anyone who wants to be paid directly.

Which categories show up most, and where to go next

Threads cluster around clothing and shoes, so the matching library pages are the quickest way to cost a find: jeans, shoes and tees. Other sources have a different feel. TikTok and YouTube haul videos are visual, Telegram channels are fast and LitBuy's official Discord is closer to a help room. Without a LitBuy account you can still use a Reddit row: scan the WhatsApp QR on the contact page, send us the row, and we quote one delivered price, share photos before dispatch, and you pay per order.

Use Reddit to find candidates and the library pages to price them.

FAQ

Is there an official LitBuy subreddit?

LitBuy's footer links r/LitBuy_Community, which we saw on 19 October 2026, so that is the subreddit the company itself points to. We did not read its threads, and LitBuy does not publish moderation rules for it. Any other subreddit that mentions LitBuy is run by people outside the company, so check who posted a sheet and when before trusting it.

Why does a link from a Reddit sheet still show a different price on LitBuy?

Sellers change prices after a sheet is made, and LitBuy converts the yuan price at its own display rate. On 27 October 2026 LitBuy's page for one Weidian row showed ¥94.50 where an older listing price was ¥93.60, about 1% more. Open the LitBuy page for the item ID, read the current CNY price and use the checkout total.

Can I remove the invite parameter from a Reddit sheet link?

Yes. Spreadsheet links often end in inviteCode=, ref= or affcode=, which belongs to whoever made the sheet, and deleting it does not break the link. The item ID is the real identifier. Copy the ID, rebuild the address as litbuy.com/product/2/ plus the ID for a Weidian row, and the page opens without the sheet maker's tail.

How can I tell a thread is out of date?

Look at the post date, then open three rows. A delisted item shows LitBuy's message 'The product has been removed from the shelves.' If one row in three is dead, treat the thread as stale. Our tests on 27 October 2026 opened six Weidian rows with live prices, which shows sheets can still work when somebody keeps them up.

Do Reddit haul photos replace LitBuy's own QC photos?

No. Haul photos show one buyer's item under their lighting. LitBuy takes routine QC photos, generally 3 to 6, after your own item reaches its Xiamen warehouse, and extra photos cost ¥1 each. There is no public QC gallery on litbuy.com. Use thread photos to shortlist rows, then ask for the specific shots you need.

What should I save before a Reddit post disappears?

Save the item ID, the seller's store name, the size table screenshot and the date you read the row. A pinned post can be edited or removed, and a Google Sheet can lose its tabs. Our free template at /files/litbuy-row-sheet.xlsx has a column for each of those, so the row survives even if the thread does not.
