Nine things to verify on a LitBuy sheet row before you add it to your cart

Last updated .

Short answer: Before ordering from a LitBuy spreadsheet row, check nine things: the link opens, the price, the styles, a size chart in cm, how many seller photos exist, an estimated weight, the date of the row, any invite-code tail on the link, and whether the item is restricted. A jacket that tips from 1 kg to 2 kg costs €14.67 more to ship to Germany (27 Oct 2026).

Why one minute on a row saves a parcel

A sheet row is a lead, not a guarantee. It was typed or pasted by someone on a certain day, and the seller behind the link can change anything afterwards. A minute of checking filters out dead links, wrong sizes and parcels that jump a price step. The nine checks below take the columns most sheets carry, plus the ones they leave out. If you are new to the whole process, start with the seven steps and come back here.

Check the row before the cart, because nothing is cheaper to fix there.

The nine checks in one table

Seven of the nine are a look; two (size and weight) need a pencil.

Paste the link into a browser. A live LitBuy page shows the CNY price with a dollar figure, style options and a shipment estimate. A delisted one says "The product has been removed from the shelves." Press "Force refresh" once before you give up, then read the dead-links guide.

Prices drift. We saw ¥93.60 in a catalogue against ¥94.50 on LitBuy and ¥113.10 against ¥114.19 on 27 October 2026, about a 1 percent gap. At ¥1 ≈ €0.158 (LitBuy's own rate) that gap is a few cents, not a reason to worry. A much larger gap points to a different option or an old row.

A live link with a near price is a pass; anything else is a question.

Checks 3 and 4: styles and the size chart in centimetres

Styles are the colour or version options on the product page. Some rows have few options, others many. Pick the style whose photo matches the colour you want, and note whether the sheet row names one style while the page defaults to another. Then find the size chart, often an image in the description. It should list chest, length and shoulder for tops, or waist, hip and inseam for trousers, in cm. The Chinese size chart guide explains each column, and the size chart CSV keeps them handy.

No cm chart, no order: letters alone are a coin toss.

Checks 5 and 6: seller photos and the weight band

Count the seller's photos. As a rule of thumb, listings with eight or more photos tend to show detail and a worn view; with one or two you will lean on LitBuy's routine QC photos, generally three to six. The weight check is about price steps. LitBuy quoted Germany at 500 g, 1 kg and 2 kg on 27 October 2026, so a small difference in weight can move a parcel into a dearer step. Use the category figures from the light add-ons page as estimates, and say "estimated" every time.

Worked example: a hypothetical ¥210 jacket, estimated 1.20 kg, to Germany

Item: ¥210 × 0.158 (LitBuy's display rate)€33.18

1.20 kg is above 1 kg, so the 2,000 g band on LIT-Economy-DHL-DE, all-in€45.09

Landed in Germany, jacket alone€78.27

If the same jacket were 1.00 kg or less, shipping would be the 1,000 g figure of €30.42 and the total €63.60. The step costs €14.67. Add a second item to the jacket parcel and the step is shared, which the combine-parcels guide works through.

Know which band you are in before you love the item.

Checks 7 and 8: the date and the invite-code tail

A dated row can be judged; an undated one cannot. In October 2026 LitBuy changed its EU tariff prepayment from ¥24 to ¥40 per parcel on most tax-free lines and added a new US line, so a price quoted before that is stale. See the 2026 changes page for the list. Look also at the end of the URL. The tail of a sheet link may hold inviteCode=, ref= or affcode=, a tag for whoever shared the sheet. Deleting it does not break the link. The item ID is what matters; rebuild a clean link with the link converter.

Date the row, strip the tail, keep the item ID.

Check 9: is the item restricted

LitBuy's embargo clause (read 27 October 2026) bars tobacco, alcohol, knives and blades, some foods, seeds, magnetic components, inflatable lighters and goods that infringe trademarks. For liquids, creams, powders and cosmetics, ask LitBuy support before buying; batteries, oils and adhesives may be taken out of a parcel. The fragrance page shows how a liquid row is handled. No account yet? Scan the WhatsApp QR on the contact page, send the row, and we reply with a quote that already includes delivery; pictures arrive before dispatch and payment is per order. For where rows come from and how stale they get, see Reddit sheets.

If the item is a liquid, a blade or a magnet, ask before paying.

FAQ

Why does the price on LitBuy differ from the price in the sheet?

Sheets copy the seller's price at one moment, and LitBuy's page updates from the seller. On 27 October 2026 we saw ¥93.60 in a catalogue against ¥94.50 on LitBuy, and ¥113.10 against ¥114.19, a gap of about 1 percent (LitBuy showed 1 to 3 percent more). Treat the LitBuy page as the number that counts, and re-read the total at checkout in your own currency.

How many seller photos should a row have before I order?

As a rule of thumb, eight or more is a comfortable level, because a long gallery tends to include a flat lay, a detail shot and a worn shot. Two or three photos mean you will rely on LitBuy's three to six routine QC photos to learn anything. LitBuy publishes no public QC gallery, so a thin listing is worth a ¥1 extra photo request after arrival.

Is a row from last year still safe to open?

It may open, but it is less reliable. Sellers delist items, change styles and edit prices, and LitBuy changed several shipping lines between 19 and 27 October 2026, including the EU tariff prepayment moving from ¥24 to ¥40. Prefer sheets that show a date, and treat anything older than a few months as a lead to verify, not a quote.

What does the inviteCode part at the end of a link do?

It tags whoever made the sheet, and removing it does not break the link, because the item ID is the real identifier. LitBuy's welcome offer, a 40% shipping coupon banner on 27 October 2026, is shown to new users anyway. Cutting the tail off is harmless, and rebuilding the clean link takes seconds with the link converter.

How do I know if an item is restricted before I buy it?

LitBuy's embargo clause lists tobacco, alcohol, knives and blades, some foods, seeds, magnetic components, inflatable lighters and goods that infringe trademarks. Liquids, creams, powders and cosmetics need a question to support first, and batteries or oils may be removed from the parcel. If the row is a bottle, a blade or a magnet, stop and ask before paying.

Can I trust the weight written in a sheet row?

Treat it as a guess unless the seller lists it. Our planning figures are estimates: 0.70 kg for jeans, 1.20 kg for a jacket, 1.30 kg for boxed shoes. LitBuy weighs the real item at the warehouse, and after packing it recalculates the charge on the chargeable weight, so a wrong guess shows up as a refund or a request for the difference.
